Regular Season Round 25: Boulazac - Monaco 70-72

Fifteenth-ranked Boulazac (7-17) made lots of trouble for seventh ranked Monaco (14-11) on Tuesday. The visitors from Monaco managed to secure only two-point victory 72-70. However their fans expected much easier game. 27 personal fouls committed by Boulazac helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. DR Congolese Shekinah Munanga (201-97) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Kevin Cham (189-98, college: High School) chipped in 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Dylan Affo (196-99) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Adrien Labanere (175-97, agency: Octagon Europe) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boulazac's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Monaco have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 14-11 record. Boulazac at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Monaco are looking forward to face CCRB Pro (#12) in Reims in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Boulazac will have a break next round.
