Regular Season Round 29: ALS Basket - Gries/Oberhoffen 66-90

NM1 top team - Gries/Oberhoffen (25-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked ALS Basket (13-16) in Andrezieux 90-66. They outrebounded ALS Basket 40-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Gries/Oberhoffen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Romain Hillotte (195-91) nailed 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) accounted for 15 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks. Five Gries/Oberhoffen players scored in double figures. American forward Jonathan Mitchell (201-87, college: Rutgers, agency: Inception Sports) came up with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Momar Ndoye (200-95, agency: Duran International) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for ALS Basket in the defeat. ALS Basket's coach Romain Tillon gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Gries/Oberhoffen maintains first place with 25-3 record. ALS Basket at the other side keeps the tenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with La Charite and Souffel. Gries/Oberhoffen will play against bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
