There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Vicenza (15-10) crushed at home 5th ranked Team Crema (16-9) 50-28 on Wednesday. Vicenza held Team Crema to an opponent 19.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Vicenza made 8 blocks. It was a very good performance for Bosnian Melisa Brcaninovic (190-99, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. Point guard Federica Destro (172-98) contributed with 16 points for the winners.
