No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Valka/Valga (6-10) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Valmiera (3-25) 105-88 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 105-88. Valka/Valga looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Estonian guard Egert Haller (192-95) scored 31 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Maris Ziedins (203-90) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
