There was an upset when higher ranked Obras Basket (16-15) lost to seventeenth ranked Quilmes MP (12-20) in Mar del Plata 87-92 on Friday. Quilmes MP looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The former international power forward Ivan Basualdo (202-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). International guard Eric Flor (186-93) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners.
