Regular Season Round 27: PGE Turow - Rosa 83-80

There was a surprise result in Zgorzelec where eleventh ranked PGE Turow (16-14) edged higher ranked Rosa (17-13) 83-80 on Saturday. PGE Turow looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Rosa's players. It was a great evening for American guard Cameron Ayers (196-91, college: Bucknell) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. Forward Jakub Patoka (200-94) helped adding 19 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard AJ English (192-92, college: Iona) with 24 points and American-Jamaican guard Ryan Harrow (188-91, college: Georgia St., agency: 3Eye) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. PGE Turow moved-up to ninth place. Loser Rosa dropped to the seventh position with 13 games lost. PGE Turow will face higher ranked Stelmet Enea BC (#3) in Zielona Gora in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
