Eleventh-ranked Giants B (8-17) made lots of trouble for first ranked Gembo BBC (19-5) in Borgerhout on Saturday. Gembo BBC managed to secure only two-point victory 73-71. However their fans expected much easier game. Gembo BBC made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Giants B turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Gembo BBC made 18 blocks. The best player for the winners was guard Bryan De-Valck (192-95) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. Jens Bouckaert (-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Niels De-Ridder (195-1) who recorded 7 points and 9 rebounds and Bastiaan Van-Den-Eynde (183-0) added 12 points respectively. Giants B's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gembo BBC have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-5 record.
