LF2 top team - Real Celta Vigo (20-5) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed thirteenth ranked Segle XXI (7-18) in Barcelona 71-47. The game without a history. Real Celta Vigo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Segle XXI to just 5 points in first quarter. Real Celta Vigo forced 22 Segle XXI turnovers. Mali center Minata Keita (190-89) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and American-Nigerian guard Sarah Ogoke (178-90, college: So.Poly State) accounted for 13 points and 5 rebounds. Estel Puiggros came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Paula Fraile added 3 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Segle XXI in the defeat. Segle XXI's coach Ivan Torinos gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Real Celta Vigo maintains first place in Group A with 20-5 record. Segle XXI lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the twelfth position with 18 games lost. They share it with ADBA. Real Celta Vigo will meet at home Oviedo (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Segle XXI will play against the league's second-placed Maquinaria Ensino in Lugo and hope to secure a win.
