Regular Season Round 27: BM Slam Stal - Stelmet 78-70

The game between Top Four teams took place in Ostrow Wlkp.. Fourth ranked host BM Slam Stal (20-9) defeated 4th placed Stelmet Enea BC (20-9) 78-70. BM Slam Stal forced 19 Stelmet Enea BC turnovers. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Nikola Markovic (208-89) who scored 19 points. American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) chipped in 10 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian-Montenegrin forward Boris Savovic (208-87, agency: BeoBasket) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) added 13 points and 5 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BM Slam Stal have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Stelmet. BM Slam Stal will meet Polpharma (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stelmet Enea BC will play against PGE Turow (#9) in Zgorzelec and hope to secure a win.
