No shocking result in a game when third ranked Osaka Evessa (19-32) beat on the road 6th ranked Shimane Magic (8-43) 78-69 on Saturday. Osaka Evessa made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Shimane Magic only scored seven points from the stripe. Shimane Magic was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American power forward Xavier Gibson (210-88, college: Florida St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. The former international forward Naoya Kumagae (194-90) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
