The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Akita Happinets (44-6) on the court of sixth ranked Bambitious Nara on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Bambitious Nara 80-75. They made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. Bambitious Nara outrebounded Akita Happinets 37-26 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. 28 personal fouls committed by Akita Happinets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) who led his team to a victory with 15 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) contributed with 3 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and American forward Chris Cayole (201-85, college: St.Michael's) added 17 points in the effort for Akita Happinets. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Bambitious Nara maintains sixth place with 14-36 record. Akita Happinets at the other side still keep top position with six games lost. Bambitious Nara are again looking forward to face league's leader Akita Happinets at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Akita Happinets will have a break next round.
