LF2 round 25 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Gran Canaria (22-3) against fourth ranked Picken Claret (18-7) 62-36 was the most important game of the last round. Picken Claret held Gran Canaria to an opponent 19.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Marta Rabassa (178-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Juana Camilion (172-99) contributed with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Erica Covile (185, college: Temple) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds and Sokhna Ndiaye added 4 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Gran Canaria. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Picken Claret have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain fourth place in Group B with 18-7 record. Gran Canaria at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Valencia. They were replaced at the leadership position by RC Celta. Gran Canaria will play next round against strong Adelantados trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Picken Claret will try to continue on its current victory against first ranked Valencia. It will be extra interesting game as Valencia is their local rival from Valencia.
