There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Scauri (13-15) edged on the road 8th ranked Capo d'Orlando (13-14) 78-75 on Saturday. Scauri made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Forward Davide Serino (199-81) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Andrea Longobardi (199-94) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Roberto Marinello (179-91) produced 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals and center Enrico Di-Coste (218-95, college: Northwood) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Scauri moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Padova. Newly promoted Capo d'Orlando keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Scauri will face Roma Tiber (#11) at home in the next round.
