Regular Season Round 22: Zabok - Jazine 96-78

Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Jazine (4-17) was defeated on the road by seventh ranked KK Zabok (11-10) 96-78. The game was mostly controlled by KK Zabok. Jazine was better in fourth quarter 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KK Zabok players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Forward Petar Maric (196-87, agency: PEPI SPORT) notched 20 points to lead the effort and point guard Borna Kapusta (182-96, agency: XL Basketball Agency) supported him with 17 points and 7 assists. KK Zabok's coach Dragutin Crnjevic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Goran Fodor (195-90) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Five KK Zabok and four Jazine players scored in double figures. KK Zabok maintains seventh position with 11-10 record. Newly promoted Jazine dropped to the eleventh place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Zagreb. KK Zabok will play against higher ranked Split (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jazine will play against KK Skrljevo (#5) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
