Regular Season Round 25: Haga BG - Bankeryd 90-65

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Haga BG's (10-4) home victory over 5th ranked Bankeryd (9-9) 90-65. It looked good early as Bankeryd took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Haga BG had a 21-17 second period charge getting the lead and Bankeryd was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-90. Haga BG forced 19 Bankeryd turnovers and outrebounded them 51-25 including a 14-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for forward Daniel Nilo (194-97) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Lucas Lindh (200-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Haga BG players scored in double figures. Haga BG's coach David Bergstrom felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Jonas Eriksson (190-85) answered with 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Johannes Hook (200-96) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bankeryd. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Haga BG. Newly promoted Haga BG maintains fourth place with 10-4 record. Bankeryd at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with nine games lost.
