The game had a very big importance for second-ranked SIG Strasbourg as it allowed them to take a leadership position. SIG Strasbourg defeated 11th ranked Levallois at home 95-80. The game was mostly controlled by SIG Strasbourg. Levallois managed to win fourth quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
