Regular Season Round 27: Hyeres-Toulon - Bourg 61-82

Very expected game when 18th ranked Hyeres-Toulon (7-20) was rolled over at home by seventh ranked JL Bourg (15-12) 82-61. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. Hyeres-Toulon was better in fourth quarter 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Joseph Lewis (188-92, college: Louisville) who led the winners and scored 29 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). His fellow American import center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 21 points for the winning side. American forward Reggie Arnold (198-88, college: Boise St.) came up with 14 points and the former international center Ferdinand Prenom (201-91) added 5 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Hyeres-Toulon in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JL Bourg moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hyeres-Toulon lost fourteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 20 games lost. JL Bourg's next round opponent will be Boulazac Basket (#17) on the road which should be another easy win for them. Hyeres-Toulon will play against JSF Nanterre and hope to win that game.
