Regular Season Round 28: Roma Luiss - Valmontone 73-79

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Valmontone (20-8) defeated on the road 7th ranked Roma Luiss (17-11) 79-73 on Saturday. The former international power forward Luca Bisconti (208-82, agency: SPORTlab Agency) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. Center Eugenio Beretta (208-96) produced 15 points and center Raffaele Martone (208-90) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Valmontone and four Roma Luiss players scored in double figures. Roma Luiss' coach Andrea Paccarie tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Valmontone moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Crema. Loser Roma Luiss keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. Valmontone will face Sestu (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Roma Luiss will play against Capo d'Orlando (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
