Regular Season Round 21: Bourges - Roche 86-60

LFB top team - Bourges (19-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Roche (3-18) 86-60. Bourges players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. It was a good game for the former international forward Diandra Tchatchouang (186-91, college: Maryland) who led her team to a victory with 23 points. International forward Valerianne Ayayi (184-94) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Bourges players scored in double figures. Bourges' coach Olivier Lafargue felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Caroline Heriaud (165-96, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) answered with 13 points and 5 assists and Croatian center Iva Cuzic-Sliskovic (190-84, college: S.Carolina) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Roche. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Bourges. They maintain first place with 19-2 record. Roche lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Bourges' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Flammes in Charleville and it will be for sure the game of the week. Roche will play at home against Tarbes (#7) and hope to win that game.
