Naestved topped Bakken to open 2-0 lead. The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. Bakken was better in second period 25-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. American forward Kazembe Abif (200-92, college: Drexel) notched 26 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Troy Franklin (183-89, college: Coppin St.) supported him with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Abif is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by Senegalese center Michel Diouf (208-89) did not help to save the game for Bakken. American forward Jeffrey Crockett (201-91, college: Texas Tech) added 17 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
