Very expected game in Kalamunda where 8th ranked Suns (2-4) were crushed by fourth ranked Buccaneers (4-1) 108-88 on Sunday. Buccaneers forced 21 Suns turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Colter Lasher (201-94, college: Houston Baptist, agency: Blacktop Management) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Tongan-American guard Marcus Alipate (183-92, college: St.Thomas) chipped in 28 points and 7 assists. American center Kevin Davis (206-91, college: Cent.Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Jonathan Diaz (183-93) scored 19 points and 5 assists. Five Buccaneers and four Suns players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Buccaneers maintains fourth place in League with 4-1 record. Loser Suns dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Buccaneers will face league's leader Wanneroo in Joondalup in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Suns will play at home against Hawks (#6) and hope to win that game.
