Regular Season Round 32: Shiga L-Stars - Kyoto Hannar. 74-72

A very interesting game took place in Shiga. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Kyoto Hannar. (31-20) to fourth ranked Shiga L-Stars (18-33) 74-72 on Sunday evening. Shiga L-Stars players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Israeli center DOr Fischer (211-81, college: W.Virginia) who scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Narito Namizato (172-89) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. American center Joshua Smith (208-92, college: Georgetown) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import Marcus Dove (206-85, college: Oklahoma St.) added 11 points and 14 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shiga L-Stars maintains fourth position with 18-33 record. Kyoto Hannar. at the other side keeps the second place with 20 games lost. Shiga L-Stars' next round opponent will be Hitachi Sunrockers (#6) in Tokyo. Kyoto Hannar. will play on the road against Hokkaido L. (#5) in Saporro and hope to win that game.
