Regular Season Round 27: GTK Gliwice - Trefl 83-94

Not a big story in a game in Gliwice where 14th ranked GTK (10-20) was defeated by tenth ranked Trefl (16-13) 94-83 on Sunday. Trefl looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American center Steve Zack (211-92, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. American-Hungarian point guard Obadiah Trotter (188-84, college: Alabama A&M) helped adding 18 points, 5 rebounds, 14 assists and 7 steals. The best for the losing side was American point guard Quinton Hooker (183, college: N.Dakota) with 16 points and 7 assists and the other American import center Maverick Morgan (208-94, college: Illinois) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Trefl and five GTK players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Trefl moved-up to eighth place. GTK lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 20 games lost. Trefl will face league's leader Anwil in Wloclawek in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
