Very important is a road loss of third ranked Orange Vikings (27-24) against fourth ranked Dragonflies (27-24) on Sunday night. Visiting Orange Vikings were crushed by Dragonflies in Hiroshima 83-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Orange Vikings. Dragonflies dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Orange Vikings' 38. Dragonflies forced 19 Orange Vikings turnovers and outrebounded them 47-36 including 34 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American guard Terrence Drisdom (196-92, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who scored that evening 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) supported him with 8 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Even 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists by guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) did not help to save the game for Orange Vikings. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) added 11 points for lost side. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dragonflies moved-up to third place, which they share with Ehime OV. Dragonflies will meet at home Tokyo Z (#6) in the next round. Orange Vikings will play against Kanazawa Sam. in Ishikawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
