Regular Season Round 52: Cyberdyne IR - Shinshu BW 72-62

Rather expected game when 5th ranked Shinshu BW (23-27) lost to second ranked Cyberdyne IR (29-21) in Tsukuba 62-72 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for guard Yuji Takahashi (183-91) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 assists. American power forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Tim Dezelski (198-90, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Jared Berggren (208-90, college: Wisconsin) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Shinshu BW. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cyberdyne IR have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 29-21 record having four points less than leader Akita NH. Shinshu BW lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 27 games lost. Cyberdyne IR will face league's leader Toyotsu FE in Nagoya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shinshu BW will play on the road against Gunma (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
