An exciting game was played in Tokyo. Tokyo HT faced Saitama Broncos. Host Tokyo HT (5-1) smashed guests from Saitama (2-4) 96-58. Tokyo HT dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 26. They outrebounded Saitama Broncos 58-31 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American power forward Edward Morris (204-84, college: Pittsburg St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Brennan McElroy (201-91, college: Indianapolis) helped adding 8 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Masaya Ueda (177-93) scored 8 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
