Very predictable result in Armstrong where fourth ranked Deportivo Norte (22-18) defeated 13th ranked Echague (15-24) 89-83. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Deportivo Norte players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for Jonatan Torresi who led his team to a victory with 25 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Point guard Rodrigo Gallegos contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Guard Lisandro Ruiz-Moreno (183-89) answered with 22 points and 6 assists and American forward Jamell Cornley (196-87, college: Penn St.) added 18 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Echague. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Deportivo Norte maintains fourth place with 22-18 record. Echague at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with 24 games lost.
