Very predictable result when first ranked Cento (24-4) beat on the road 10th ranked Rimini (11-17) 82-77 on Sunday. Power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Carlo Cantone (185-85) chipped in 14 points and 5 assists. Cento's coach Giovanni Benedetto allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Edoardo Tiberti (205-97) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and the former international center Francesco Foiera (207-75, agency: Interperformances) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Cento and four Rimini players scored in double figures. Cento have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position in B with 24-4 record. Loser Rimini keeps the tenth place with 17 games lost. Cento will face Reggio Emilia (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
