Very important is a home loss of third ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (14-9) against tenth ranked Bnei Hasharon (9-14) on Sunday night. Host Hapoel Jerusalem was defeated by Bnei Hasharon in a tough game in Jerusalem 78-86. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hapoel Jerusalem. Hapoel Jerusalem's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Bnei Hasharon moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Maccabi Rishon and Ironi Nes-Ziona. Defending champion Hapoel Jerusalem keeps the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Maccabi Ashdod. Bnei Hasharon will play against higher ranked Maccabi Ashdod (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hapoel Jerusalem will have a break next round.
