Very expected game when 12th ranked Olginate (10-18) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Faenza (18-10) 82-74 on Sunday. Faenza looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Olginate was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Marco Perin (185-93) fired 17 points and 9 assists for the winners. Swingman Gioacchino Chiappelli (198-91, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Faenza players scored in double figures. Giacomo Siberna (192-96) produced 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Nicholas Dessi (197-98, agency: Octagon Europe) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Olginate's coach Alessandro Galli tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Faenza moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Vicenza and Lecco. Newly promoted Olginate keeps the twelfth position with 18 games lost. Faenza will face Desio (#8) on the road in the next round. Olginate will play against Padova (#9) and hope to win that game.
