No shocking result in a game when third ranked Yamagata (23-28) beat 5th ranked Kagawa FA (17-32) in Takamatsu 64-58 on Sunday. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for forward Billy McShepard (208-87, college: Valdosta St., agency: Blacktop Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 16 rebounds and guard Montay Brandon (203-93, college: Florida St.) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kagawa FA. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Yamagata have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 23-28 record having nine points less than leader Akita NH. Kagawa FA lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 32 games lost. Yamagata will face Aomori Watts (#5) at home in the next round.
