No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Hapoel Eilat (12-11) defeated at home 11th ranked Ironi Nahariya (7-16) 83-73. Ironi Nahariya was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 45-32 second half run of Hapoel Eilat. They outrebounded Ironi Nahariya 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American swingman Alex Young (198-89, college: IUPUI, agency: Two Points) came up with 22 points and 5 rebounds and the former international Iftach Ziv (191-95, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 14 points and 8 assists respectively for Ironi Nahariya in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Eilat moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hapoel T-A. Ironi Nahariya lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Hapoel Eilat's next round opponent will be Maccabi Rishon (#8) in Rishon Le-Zion.
