It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of UniFacisa. Guard Guilherme Schneider (193-86) nailed 20 points for the winning side and American swingman Brandon Davis (198-88, college: Lamar, agency: Pro Sports) accounted for 24 points. American guard Chris Allen (190-88, college: Iowa St.) came up with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import point guard Farad Cobb (183-93, college: Cincinnati) added 20 points respectively for UniFacisa in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Corinthians have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-2 record, which they share with Sao Jose. UniFacisa at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Corinthians will play against Brusque (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. UniFacisa will play against Brasilia (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
