Regular Season Round 28: Boulazac - Monaco 67-94

ProA top team - Monaco (21-7) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed seventeenth ranked Boulazac Basket (8-19) 94-67. The game was mostly controlled by Monaco. Boulazac Basket was better in second period 24-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Boulazac Basket 33-21 including 27 on the defensive glass. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Gerald Robinson (185-89, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists. Swingman Christopher Evans (203-91, college: Kent St.) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Monaco players scored in double figures. Center Shawn James (208-83, college: Northeastern) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Quincy Diggs (198-90, college: Akron, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 8 points and 4 assists in the effort for Boulazac Basket. Boulazac Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Monaco have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-7 record. Newly promoted Boulazac Basket keeps the seventeenth place with 19 games lost. Monaco will face league's second-placed SIG Strasbourg on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boulazac Basket will play against Limoges CSP Elite (#8) and hope to win that game.
