No shocking result in a game in Buenos Aires where eighth ranked La Union (16-12) defeated bottom-ranked Ferrocarril (9-21) 86-79 on Thursday. American power forward Chaz Crawford (207-84, college: Drexel) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international swingman Alexis Elsener (196-88) chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Elsener is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American Aaron Harper (203-81, college: Mississippi) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and Mauro Cosolito (195-88) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
