Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Forli (4-21) was defeated at home by third ranked RR Retail Galli (20-6) 71-59 on Thursday. RR Retail Galli forced 19 Forli turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Federica Iannucci (172-93) who scored 23 points. Naturalized Canadian Melissa Rondinelli (184-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Alice Pieraccini (184-98) who recorded 25 points and 6 rebounds and guard Lucia Missanelli (177-98) added 13 points respectively. Forli's coach Andrea Castelli rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory RR Retail Galli went down to fourth position (A2) due to points difference. Forli at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 21 games lost. RR Retail Galli will face Civitanova (#5) in Civitanova Marche in the next round. Forli will play on the road against Orvieto (#9) and hope to win that game.
