Semi-Finals Game 3: Timberwolves - Rocks 98-71

Timberwolves cruised past Rocks at home court to advance into Finals. The game was mostly controlled by Timberwolves. Rocks managed to win third quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Timberwolves dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Rocks' 32. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds. Bosnian forward Nemanja Nikolic (202-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Timberwolves players scored in double figures. Timberwolves' coach Hubert Schmidt felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Royce Woolridge (190-92, college: Grand Canyon) who recorded 15 points and 4 assists and the other American import forward Arnold Fripp (201-93, college: Coppin St.) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively.
