Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Aubenas (12-19) was outscored by seventh ranked Brissac Anjou (16-15) in Brissac-Quince 83-62 on Saturday. Brissac Anjou forced 19 Aubenas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Quite impressive performance for naturalized Mali swingman Sourata Cisse (196-86) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American-Nigerian forward Zimmy Nwogbo (201-91, college: Cedarville, agency: Duran International) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Brissac Anjou's coach Morgan Belnou felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Oumarou Baradji (202-89) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo) added 16 points and 7 steals in the effort for Aubenas. Brissac Anjou have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Brissac Anjou maintains seventh place with 16-15 record. Loser Aubenas keeps the fourteenth position with 19 games lost. Brissac Anjou will face higher ranked Rueil (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aubenas will play against Vendee Challans (#6) and hope to win that game.
