Regular Season Round 28: PGE Turow - Stelmet 106-104

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Stelmet Enea BC (21-10) against ninth ranked PGE Turow (17-14) on Saturday night. Visiting Stelmet Enea BC was edged by PGE Turow in a tough game in Zgorzelec 104-106. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Stelmet Enea BC. PGE Turow made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 52.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Cameron Ayers (196-91, college: Bucknell) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 4 assists and the other American import guard Rod Camphor (191-92, college: SW Oklahoma St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) who added 25 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side the former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) responded with 13 points and 9 assists and Montenegrin power forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Stelmet Enea BC players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. PGE Turow have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain ninth position with 17-14 record. Defending champion Stelmet Enea BC dropped to the fourth place with ten games lost. PGE Turow will meet Czarni (#16) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Stelmet Enea BC will play against the league's leader Anwil (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
