Everything could happen in Dandenong at the game between two tied teams. Both third ranked Rangers and 6th ranked Sabres had identical 1-1 record. This time Rangers used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Cheltenham 74-61 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in League. The game without a history. Four Rangers players scored in double figures. Guard Jasmine Simmons (163-99, college: Rock Valley JC) replied with 25 points and guard Hannah Kaser (178-93, college: St.Mary's, CA) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Sabres. Rangers (2-1) keep a position of League leader. Loser Sabres keep the sixth place with two games lost. Rangers will face Diamond Valley Eagles (#6) in Greensborough in the next round where they are favorite. Sabres will play at home against Hobart Chargers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
