Regular Season Round 6: Eltham W. - S.Peninsula S. 58-76

Very expected game when 8th ranked Wildcats (1-3) lost to fourth ranked Sharks (3-1) in Eltham 58-76 on Saturday. Sharks forced 22 Wildcats turnovers. It was a good game for swingman Jazmin Shelley (174-0) who led her team to a victory with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Peyton Little (180-93, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 24 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners. The former international guard Samantha Creed (178, college: Newberry) replied with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Sian Gillam added 6 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Wildcats. Wildcats' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Sharks moved-up to third place in League. Loser Wildcats keep the eighth position with three games lost. Sharks will face Jets (#6) in Sunbury in the next round. Wildcats will play on the road against Cougars in McKinnon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
