Regular Season Round 31: La Charite - Saint Vallier 79-67

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Saint Vallier (24-7) against twelfth ranked La Charite (14-17) on Saturday night. Visiting Saint Vallier was defeated by La Charite in La Charite 79-67. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Saint Vallier. La Charite forced 20 Saint Vallier turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Jerrell Wright (203, college: La Salle) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Kevin Thalien (190-92) helped adding 8 points and 9 assists. At the losing side American forward Michael Craion (195-89, college: ORU) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and the former international William Gradit (197-82, college: Hill JC) scored 12 points. Saint Vallier's coach Jean-Sebastien Chardon rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. La Charite moved-up to tenth place, which they share with ALS Basket and Souffel. Saint Vallier at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. La Charite will play against Orchesien BC (#13) in Orchies in the next round. Saint Vallier will play at home against SO Maritime Boulogne (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
