Very predictable result when third ranked Cassino (22-7) rolled over at home 16th ranked Isernia (2-27) 92-69 on Saturday. Cassino dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Isernia's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Isernia's players. The former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81, agency: Interperformances) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Niccolo Petrucci (193-89) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Ferdinando Smorra (185-88) answered with 24 points and 6 assists and swingman Fabio Riccio (188-90) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Isernia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
