Second Stage Round 4: Saitama Bron. - Kagoshima 93-96

The most exciting game of round 4 in the B League D3 took place in Saitama. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 5th ranked Saitama Broncos (2-6) to fourth ranked Kagoshima (4-4) 96-93 in the game for the fourth place. Kagoshima dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 38. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Darnell Martin (198-91, college: CS Dominguez H.) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds. Bahamas center Gjio Bain (211-85, college: S.Mississippi) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Kagoshima's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Masaya Ueda (177-93) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for Saitama Broncos. Five Kagoshima and four Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. Kagoshima have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 4-4 record. Saitama Broncos lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with six games lost. Kagoshima are looking forward to face higher ranked Tokyo Excel. (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Saitama Broncos will play against the league's second-placed Otsuka A. in Tokyo and are hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
