Very predictable result when fourth ranked Scrivia (19-8) outscored on the road 11th ranked San Salvatore (7-20) 73-52 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Brazilian swingman Tayara Madonna (170-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) who scored 18 points. DR Congolese center Kintala Katshitshi (185-98) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. Scrivia's coach Fabio Pozzi felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Delia Gagliano (180-97) who recorded 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Ilenia Cordola (183-96) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Scrivia maintains fourth place in A2 with 19-8 record. Loser San Salvatore keeps the eleventh position with 20 games lost. Scrivia will face Fanola SML (#13) in San Martino di L in the next round and are hoping to win another game. San Salvatore will play on the road against Cagliari CUS and hope to win that game.
