Regular Season Round 6: Penrith P. - Sutherland S. 66-86

There was no surprise when 9th ranked Panthers (1-4) were outleveled by fifth ranked Sharks (2-2) in Penrith 86-66 on Saturday. Sharks forced 21 Panthers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Panthers' players. It was a good game for American point guard Chelsie Schweers (170-89, college: Chris.Newport) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import guard Kallie Hovatter (175-89, college: Elon) contributed with 15 points, 8 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Dominika Offner replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Tatiana Beaumont added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Panthers. Panthers' coach tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Sharks maintains fifth position in League with 2-2 record. Newly promoted Panthers keep the ninth place with four games lost. Sharks will face Bruins (#6) in Condell Park in the next round. Panthers will play on the road against North Bears in Crows Nest and hope to win that game.
