Liga Endesa top team - Real Madrid (25-3) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat ninth ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (15-13) 90-75. The game was mostly controlled by Real Madrid. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada managed to win fourth quarter 27-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) who scored that evening 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Mexican center Gustavo Ayon (207-85, college: San Jose St.) supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Real Madrid players scored in double figures. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by DR Congolese Christian Eyenga (201-89) did not help to save the game for Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. Mexican guard Francisco Cruz (190-89, college: Wyoming) added 15 points and 5 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Real Madrid have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 25-3 record. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with UCAM Murcia. Real Madrid will meet at home league's second-placed Baskonia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Baloncesto Fuenlabrada will play against CB Canarias (#10) in Tenerife and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
