There was a minor upset in Barcelona where 10th ranked Lima-Horta (8-18) was defeated by twelfth ranked ADBA (8-18) 71-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by ADBA. Lima-Horta was better in third quarter 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lima-Horta to just 7 points in second quarter. ADBA shot 21 for 31 from the free-throw line, while Lima-Horta only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Lima-Horta 49-34 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Sierra Moore (180-94, college: Penn St.) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Raquel Navarro-Martinez (183-97) chipped in 8 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four ADBA players scored in double figures. Guard Laura Lopez (171-85) responded with 13 points and 6 rebounds and Miriam Ferreri (-93) scored 11 points and 4 steals. Lima-Horta's coach Isaac Fernandez rotated eleven players saving starting five for next games. ADBA moved-up to tenth place in Group A, which they share with Lima-Horta and Ascensores Tresa. Lima-Horta lost tenth consecutive game.
