Second Stage Round 11: BC Mess - Racing 64-91

An interesting game for Racing (16-12) which played road game in Mondercange against 3rd placed BC Mess (13-16). First ranked Racing had an easy win 91-64. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BC Mess' 34. It was a great evening for power forward Olivier Braun (207-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. American swingman Scott Morton (195-87, college: Geneseo St.) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Racing players scored in double figures. American forward Richard Ross (198-92, college: ODU) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import guard Dylan Talley (196-89, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Racing have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. Newly promoted Racing maintains first place with 16-12 record. BC Mess lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 16 games lost. They share it with T.Hesperange. Racing will play against league's second-placed Kordall Steelers in Rodange in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Mess will play at home against Contern and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
