Very predictable result in Madrid where second ranked La Roda (22-7) beat 9th ranked Real Canoe (13-16) 81-76. La Roda players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Chadian center Placide Nakidjim (205-94) nailed 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and forward Norman Rey (203-87) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds. Five La Roda players scored in double figures. Jose-Miguel Perez (202-96) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Ruben Martinez (196-85) added 13 points respectively for Real Canoe in the defeat. Real Canoe's coach Miguel Angel Aranzabal rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted La Roda maintains second place with 22-7 record behind leader Granada. Real Canoe at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the ninth position with 16 games lost. La Roda's next round opponent will be Cambados (#12) at home and are hoping to win another game. Real Canoe will play against Myrtia in Murcia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
